Christina Dohmeier
I’ve been with Charisma for over 25 years, but I’ve been in love with the beauty industry my whole life. When I was just a little girl, it was so much fun to visit the salon with my mom and see all the ladies enjoying their pretty selves! I love all aspects of the beauty industry, and I perform a variety of services in the salon- waxing services, nail care, color weaves, balayage and womens cuts- anything else you could possibly dream up? My true passion is helping guests feel more confident and beautiful from the inside out! I want them to enjoy good conversation, receive a top-notch service and know they are the most important part of our salon environment. I am an outside girl enjoying lake days, mountain biking, hiking with my husky and spending time with my husband and kids. I love a great cup-of-coffee and reading my favorite book, Pride and Prejudice.
Donna Stamper
I joined the beauty industry because I am passionate about people and helping them feel that their transformed look is the best version of themselves! My favorite services to perform are “big chops,” short hairstyles and I love a good perm. Regardless of length, I want everyone in my chair to feel my love for them and leave feeling happy and renewed. My honey and my family fulfill my life! The older I get the more I want them to know how important they are to me. I love to spend time outside gardening and camping, I love to travel and dream to visit all 50 states!
Jessica Latham
I come from a large family, basically raised on Table Rock Lake, a place that is special to my heart and also where I met my husband! I began my journey in the beauty industry to be creative, but also to make a positive impact on someone’s day. My passion is full transformations, to give someone a completely new look. My favorite part of the job has been the new guests I get to meet daily, as well as the long-lasting relationships with guests who otherwise would have been strangers to me. I’m truly in love with my little girl, our baby on the way, and the little family my husband and I have created. My intention is that everyone who sits in my chair walks away feeling fun, lighthearted, and beautiful.
Tamara Miller
When I decided to “take a break” from college my junior year at Wichita State University, a friend suggested I try cosmetology school. I laughed at her and said “nobody would actually pay me to do their hair and makeup?!” Eighteen years later, here I am! My husband and business partner, Kevin, and I purchased Charisma in January of 2020. What a year to take on a new adventure! We have been blessed with team members and guests who have made this journey nothing short of AMAZING. I love my new role as a mentor and coach to our staff. Helping people see their potential and bring their dreams to a reality has been the most rewarding thing about my new position as owner. Outside of the salon I spend my days soaking up every minute I can with my kiddos, Graham and Nora. You may meet them in the salon on any given evening when they’re helping dad drop off salon supplies. I’m a podcast/audible junkie. If you run into me in the store or out running errand, I’m sure to be lost in whatever is blaring through my earbuds. I’m a firm believer that what you consume, is what you put out into the world. It’s a principle I live by in the salon as well as at home. From the moment you walk into Charisma you will be treated like family. I have always felt your beauty experience is way more than walking out with great hair, skin, or nails. It’s how you feel while in our space that sets us apart.
Heather Martin
I’ve been in the salon for 4 years now. It was easy for me to pick this career path, as I am passionate about helping others enhance their natural beauty and making them feel confident and beautiful. I love to spend time with my husband of 2 years, Matt, and our little boy, Asher who recently turned 1! I love to bake as I have a major sweet tooth, spend time at the lake and I hope to one day learn calligraphy and travel to the Catacombs in Paris! Aside from family, I truly value “time” – I am so grateful for the time I have on this earth and I try to make the most out of every moment. My desire is that every guest who sits in my chair feels understood, valued and appreciated.
Rachel Branting
I have been in the beauty industry for four years now and finding my passion was quite easy. Meeting people daily with individual views, beliefs and stories has been really eye-opening for a girl from small-town Haven, Kansas. I do womens cuts and colors (I’m a sucker for blondes) and I recently received my certification for hand tied hair extensions! I’m usually with my friends or family in my free time. I am the youngest of four with two older sisters and an older brother. My bucket list varies from year to year, but one thing I have always wanted to check off my list is to travel overseas. You can find an iced coffee in my hand 90% of the time. I believe everyone deserves to be pampered. A relaxing experience is what you can expect to receive in my chair!
Larisa Puttroff
I have worked in the beauty industry for over 20 years in three different countries! I started in Russia, moved to Guam and finally to the USA where I worked in Omaha, Long Beach and Wahoo before finding a home here with Charisma in Wichita. I love hiking and diving in the ocean, and I plan to continue to travel. At home I love gardening whether it is growing flowers or vegetables- it is so peaceful to me. I enjoy watching my husband bake, the ladies at work love his croissants! I want everyone’s experience to be high-quality, professional and positive while having good conversation!
Tasha Stewart
After I graduated with my BA, I moved to Wichita and enrolled in cosmetology school to pursue my love for the beauty community and lifestyle! I wanted to do something I love every day while surrounding myself with endless self-care. I was an independent stylist until 2014 when I left to stay home with my children. I returned to salon life with Charisma in 2018 as a Guest Relations Coordinator. I want every Charisma guest I meet to feel serene and encouraged when they leave our environment. I am married to a sometimes funny man, Kyle, and we are raising four beautiful children together. I have a special place in my heart for foster children as I myself was in foster care for most of my life. The beauty industry is not the extent of my creativity, I am also inspired by all things crafty as I love to take old things and make them new again. I also love cooking, reading and gardening!
Madison Luken
I’ve been playing around with makeup from the time I could walk, and it became a passion of mine. I’ve been with Charisma for over two years and I love watching the transformations that take place in the salon, watching someone walk out the door with not only brand-new hair, but a new sense of self-confidence is priceless.
Outside of the salon, you will most likely find me with my fur babies Tobias and Franklin Beans, iced coffee in my hand and a true crime podcast playing. I live here in Wichita, but most of my family lives in my hometown of Iola, Kansas. There you will find my dad, who is easily my greatest influence and my biggest inspiration, as well as my sister and her three little boys who I adore more than anything. I am a huge advocate for mental health awareness especially for Military and Veterans, and although I seem to be constantly flying by the seat of my pants, I can guarantee a laugh will come from it.
Lezlee Brown
My career in the beauty industry begin when I was needed to answer the phones for a few hours and 32 years later I am still here! This began as a job, became a primary role, and now defines a major part of my life. Relationships feed my soul and I cherish the ones I have with my family as well as with the guests I am blessed to encounter every day. I’m learning to make the most of every day by slowing down.
I love personal time gardening, chalk painting, bike riding, frisbee with my dogs, and yes- I love an afternoon nap. I am an advocate for supporting my community. I choose to invest in local small businesses from handmade salsa and cake balls, to trendy boutiques. You can regularly find me at the Lord’s Diner, the Bread Pantry or collecting a delivery for His Helping Hands, Union Rescue Mission, the Wichita Children’s Home and St. Anthony’s shelter. Giving of my time and treasure is so rewarding!
Grace Campbell
I have always been passionate about all things beautiful! I spent my time growing up interested in art, music, interior design and other fine arts. Now I attend Wichita State to get my degree in graphic design and marketing, and hope to one day be a part of building brands and growing small businesses using technology. In my free time I accidentally kill houseplants, pretend to know how to cook and I love to play around with the paint and décor in my apartment. I started here at Charisma 6 months ago and have loved every minute of it! The ladies who work here are exceptionally talented, but beyond that, have true love and admiration for each of their clients and I am inspired daily by the acts of service I witness in this salon. I hope to someday see the Louvre, as well as Monet’s Garden at Giverny. I wish for every client I am blessed to meet feels valued, appreciated and leaves our salon feeling refreshed and beautiful.
Kevin Miller
I met my wife and Charisma business partner, Tamara, our freshman year of college. I graduated from Wichita State with a BA in Entrepreneurship and Management and then went on to complete my MBA. You could say it’s always been in my blood to become a business owner, so when the opportunity presented itself to purchase Charisma, alongside Tamara, I was all for it. My wife’s passion for the industry, her talent behind the chair, and her heart for each and every client fit perfectly with my love for finance, management and my unhealthy attachment to spreadsheets. My full-time gig is in the aircraft industry, which I have spent the last 15 years. In my spare time, I love cars and racing, if it has an engine, I like to tinker on it. I love to spend time with my two kids Nora and Graham, watching Frozen on repeat and helping coach little league ball. I work mostly behind the scenes at Charisma, but I am equally as passionate about the Charisma guest experience by creating a relaxing, positive and enjoyable atmosphere for each one!
